Hunter Hospitality House Offers Free Lodging, Plans April 27th Fundraiser

Sometimes new moms get sent home from the hospital sooner than their babies. In those cases, traveling back and forth to the hospital can be a real burden. Other times, there’s no money for staying at a hotel when a loved one has an unexpected medical emergency or needs life-saving treatment. In those stressful times, Hunter Hospitality House provides free lodging near both of Port Huron’s hospitals. They have two bed-and-breakfast-style houses and one “family house” that is more like a short-term rental home for an entire family.

To support this lodging, which is absolutely free to families in need, the non-profit will have a fundraising event on April 27th at the Blue Water Convention Center in Port Huron. Hunter Hospitality House’s Hope Blooms fundraiser features dinner, entertainment, raffle items, a silent auction, and more. Tickets for Hope Blooms can be purchased online or by sending a check to Hunter Hospitality House at 1010 Lincoln Avenue, Port Huron, MI 48060.  The cost is $65 each, and seating is limited. Sponsorship opportunities are still available and can be found online.  For those unable to attend who would still like to support Hunter Hospitality House, an online-only raffle of an inflatable kayak is available.   https://www.hunterhospitalityhouse.com/hope-blooms.html
