5th Annual SC4 STEM Fest Returns This March

St. Clair County Community College announces the return of the SC4 STEM Fest, a premier community event designed to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators. Now in its fifth year, the festival will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Following a record-breaking year with over 5,000 participants, the 2026 event promises even more hands-on excitement. Families and students can explore more than 100 interactive exhibits covering science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Event Highlights

  • Mind Trekkers: Experience high-energy demonstrations from Michigan Technological University’s Mind Trekkers, known for making complex science accessible and fun.
  • Challenger Learning Center: Attendees can get an inside look at the Challenger Learning Center at SC4, including interactive tours of the mission simulators.
  • Diverse Exhibits: The festival features partnerships with the Cranbrook Institute of Science and The Reptarium, bringing everything from prehistoric fossils to live wildlife to the heart of Port Huron.
  • Tech & Robotics: Dive into virtual reality experiences, rocket launches, and the latest in robotics technology.

The SC4 STEM Fest is free and open to the public, making it an ideal weekend activity for families across the region. While general admission is open, certain timed activities and mini-missions at the Challenger Learning Center may require advance registration.
