Kids in Port Huron can get a free breakfast and lunch through the Meet Up & Eat Up program this summer. The federally funded program provides free food to kids aged 18 and under or up to age 26 for certain cases. The food is distributed four days per week on Mondays through Thursdays. Starting June 24th, food is available at Holland Woods Middle School, Port Huron High School, and Port Huron Northern High School. Starting July 8th, food will also be available at Cleveland, Crull, Keewahdin, and Michigamme Elementary Schools. All of the programs end on August 1st this year. The Port Huron Northern location hands out both breakfast and lunch during the morning time: 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., while the other locations have both breakfast and lunch distribution times.
