The Spero Center in Port Huron is offering free ultrasounds to pregnant women who are between six and 22 weeks of gestation. Spero is training new ultrasound technicians and needs “models” to help with the training. The free ultrasounds are available during the week of August 25. To schedule, call 810-985-4673.

Ultrasounds use sound waves to create images of organs and structures within the body. A picture can often be printed of the images, giving parents a first look at their developing baby.

Spero offers pregnancy counseling, free classes, and free supplies for expectant parents.
