From SCCLS – Everyone’s heard of West Virginia’s Mothman and Scotland’s Loch Ness Monster, but did you know Michigan has its fair share of urban legends too, such as the Ghost of Morrow Road and the Dogman? Using these tales as inspiration, teens are invited to come write their own eerie urban legends, either based on local history or entirely made up. Creepy clowns, ghost ships, haunted hotels – nothing is off limits. There’s only one rule: it’s gotta be scary! Registration is requested.
