Fiction Writing Workshop for Aspiring Authors

Grab your favorite pen (or laptop) and get ready to write with guidance from Marirose Sanborn-Smith, local author (“Cavity” and the “M-19 Minute”) and editor. Hone your craft during a live critique session, work through prompts, and learn how to create scenes that jump off the page. (Ages 12 & Up)
To have your work critiqued live during the session, please email the first 500 words in advance to Marirose at marirose.sanborn@gmail.com with the subject “SCCLS Workshop” and your name. Submissions are due by Thursday, April 23rd. Original work only (no AI-generated content, please).
Marirose is delighted to return as a speaker to SCCLS. After the workshop, there will be a 30-minute Q&A session and networking opportunity to form a critique group.
