Nature-based Fun

Celebrate Your Child Literacy Day is an annual tradition in the Blue Water Area, offering a morning of free fun, discovery, and learning for both parents and children. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, June 6th from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Pine River Nature Center in Goodells.

What to Expect

There is plenty of adventure lined up to keep the little ones engaged! Children will have a chance to:

  • Explore the beautiful trails and facilities at the Nature Center
  • Listen to a special storytime up in the treehouse
  • Take a hike and dive into hands-on outdoor activities, and more.
  • Meet Bluey, who will be making a special guest appearance
  • Visit St. Clair Country Library System Bookmobile, which will be parked onsite.

Register Today

While the event is entirely free, families should REGISTER in advance. As a bonus, families who register ahead of time will receive a gift bag and a free book! The event is held rain or shine, so dress the family for the weather.

Celebrate Your Child Literacy Day is hosted by Help Me Grow St. Clair County and MiFamily.
