August 12th at McMorran

Blue Water Community Action is gearing up for this year’s Back to School Backpack Giveaway! The main event will take place on Wednesday, August 12th, from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the McMorran Place Arena in downtown Port Huron.

Vendors from many community agencies will be on hand with free items and information.

Important Requirements:

• Children must be present to receive supplies.
• Proof of St. Clair County residency is required.

How to Register

Save time on event day by completing your registration in advance using the BWCAA Registration Form. On-site registration will also be available at the door.

Additional Pickup Locations: Capac and Marine City

If you can’t make the main event at McMorran, two satellite giveaway locations will be available:

• Capac Library: Tuesday, August 18th | 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Guy Community Center (Marine City): Thursday, August 20th | 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

At both locations, children will receive a backpack filled with essential school supplies.

Backpacks and supplies are generously provided by community sponsors and private donors. The Back to School Backpack Giveaway is coordinated by Blue Water Community Action Agency.
