Art Contest for Grades K-12
Students in local schools can participate in this year’s St. Clair County Community Mental Health Creative Arts Contest. Entries are due by January 16th, 2026. This year’s theme is Stronger Together-You Are Not Alone.
Kindness Connects Us
The Elementary School (grades kindergarten through 5th grade) tagline is Kindness Connects Us. Students are asked to make a bookmark. The bookmark is to be created on the entry form, which can be found here. According to SCCCMH, winners will be selected based on originality, creativity, neatness, and printability.
Compassion is Courage
Middle Schoolers (grades 6-8) can enter their original poem into the contest. The middle school contest asks students to think about building stronger communities through empathy and support. The theme is Compassion is Courage. The details of the Middle School contest can be found here.
Inclusion. Empathy. Strength.
This year’s theme for the High School contest is Inclusion. Empathy. Strength. The contest is open to all St. Clair County High School students. Students are asked to design a poster using the theme. Digital work is not currently allowed. Entries must be hand-made. Winning work will be featured in SCCCMH publications and as their Mental Health poster. There are cash prizes available. Prizes
Cash prizes and gift cards will be awarded to winners at the different levels. Winners will also have their work shared with the community. Details can be found at https://scccmh.org/creativearts/.
