DIY Laser Lightshow Workshop with Illuminatus Lasers
November 16 @ 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM
FreeIn an effort to educate the public as to the mechanics and optics that make up laser lumia, we present a workshop where participants can create their own laser lightshow. Using a laser pointer, plastic disk, pencil, and transparent hot glue, kids make a basic lumia projector, which they can take home. Before the activity commences, Laser Artist Mike Gould gives a brief slideshow presentation with a laser safety lesson and a bit about the history and uses of lasers. This program is at the Don Dodge Auditorium right behind and across the street south from the Main Branch of the St. Clair County Library System on 200 Grand River Ave.
