Not Just play Open house

Registration Open House scheduled for February 6, 2024 from 5:30-6:30 @ NOT JUST PLAY.

NOT JUST PLAY is a Private, Play Based Early Childhood Academy. We are not backed by any religious groups, school districts, or local municipalities. We have an amazing facility, teaching staff, and curriculum. The kids that complete our 3’s and 4/Y5’s are well prepared to take on the rigors of kindergarten. Our goal is to help kids become independent problem solvers who love to learn. Our exploration units are presented in a way that allows us to engage children with a magnitude of different learning styles. The social/emotional component of our program takes center stage as we strive to help kids understand and harness the big emotions that they feel. Kids need to learn how to deal with other adults and the personalities of their peers. We teach “academics”, but Early Childhood Education is meant to focus on building a solid foundation for all future learning. If kids are able to follow directions, communicate effectively, gain independence, problem solve, improve fine/gross motor skills, take turns, build confidence, try and “fail” safely, experience consequences, engage in imaginative play, and manage daily transitions…we know that academics will come.
