The Irish-American Club of St. Clair County is trying something new this year and reaching out to families to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
Families are invited to bring kids of all ages to the Saint Paddy’s Day Family Celebration on Saturday, March 15th, from noon to 1:00 p.m. at McMorran Place in Downtown Port Huron. The street in front of McMorran will be closed off during that time.
There will be music, dancing, and a kids’ zone with a bouncy house and other activities for children. There is no cost to participate.
Don’t forget to wear green! More information can be found on the Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/s/st-paddys-day-family-celebrati/604830599114869/.
StemFest will also be happening right around the corner at St. Clair County Community College, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The YMCA of the Blue Water Area will be hosting the Leprechaun Loop at 9:00 a.m. and an Irish Pool Party from noon to 2:00 on March 15th. There are plenty of family-friendly ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Downtown Port Huron.
