Learning Adventures Preschool and Child Care in Marysville is getting ready for its August 2023 opening. The new early childhood center is owned and operated by Cassie Nickels.

Nickels said she is local to Marysville and has been working with children since 1997. She said she fell in love with the Early Childhood age group in 2002. She has a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Educational Leadership from Madonna University and Concordia University and is a mother to twin girls.

Nickels said, “I’ve always dreamed of owning my own childcare center. After running many centers within large organizations, the time has come for me to adventure on my own and make our dreams come true! I have an unending passion for providing a safe, loving, and educational environment for all children and I believe that every single child can succeed and learn rapidly. Children are a sponge just waiting to be filled with knowledge and wonder for the world around us!”

Nickels explained that Learning Adventures will offer preschool and education in each and every age group throughout the day and will offer extended afternoon programs including cooking and gardening, music explorers, STEAM, and many more as she continues to learn what families want. Learning Adventures will have events and parent date nights offered periodically. Look for Open Houses in June once the space is fully remodeled.

Learning Adventures is enrolling children from ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The center is located at 901 Michigan Avenue, Suite A, in Marysville.
