Brittany Rodriguez has turned her artistic talent into a thriving local face-painting business. Her business, Painting with Britt, has been around for about five years, making kids’ dreams come true at Birthday Parties and other events as they temporarily transform into superheroes, princesses, and more.

Brittany said that she got into the business in an unusual way. She answered an ad for pet sitting. The dog’s owner happened to be a face painter, and as they go to know each other, she was encouraged to give it a try. Their friendship blossomed and Brittany learned all she could from her new colleague and friend. Brittany said she never did end up watching the dog, but she did get started on her new business.

Brittany said, “My favorite part of painting is the reveal. Seeing their little face light up and how excited they are makes the whole wiggly experience worth it.”
