A completely free family event is planned for Sunday, September 8th in the parking lot of MiMutual in downtown Port Huron. Sunday Funday puts kids and families first.
The yearly celebration, in its 30th year, helps to kick off the traditional “Roof-Sit” where local radio hosts broadcast from the roof of buildings. During the process, money is raised for the St. Clair County Child Abuse/Neglect Council. Money goes toward programs that prevent child abuse and neglect as well as provide advocacy for victims.
The Sunday Funday will feature train rides, free hot dogs, face painting, bounce houses, and other entertainment.
