Drive 4 UR Community
If you can spare half an hour or so on September 25th, you can help the local community in two ways. One way is by participating in a food drive for Forgotten Harvest, and the other is by test-driving a brand-new car.
You can donate unexpired, undamaged healthy foods, or you can make a monetary donation. The food will be distributed to families in need locally. The food can be delivered to Northgate Ford Lincoln in Port Huron during their Drive 4 UR Community Event from noon to 6:00 p.m. on September 25th, 2025, or anytime that week.
Northgate Ford Sales Manager, Joe Wood, said, “Supporting the Blue Water Community Food Depot through Forgotten Harvest is a simple way Northgate Ford Lincoln can make a real difference- helping families, children, and neighbors who need it most. I hope everyone will join us in supporting our local community. “
The foods that are needed the most are high-quality, healthy foods like reduced-sodium nut butters and canned goods, dried beans, peas, lentils, whole grain cereal, nutritious snacks, and other healthy foods. Donations should be unexpired, undamaged, and unopened, and not in glass packaging.

Take a No-Pressure Test Drive to Benefit a Local School
If you have a valid driver’s license and are over the age of 18, you can test drive a brand-new Lincoln or Ford with absolutely no sales pressure. Not only do you get the thrill of taking a fancy new car for a spin, but just by registering and driving, Ford is donating $30 per driver to a local school, St. Mary/McCormick Catholic Academy.
The Port Huron school offers high-quality education to students from preschool to 8th grade. The school has recently expanded its STEM lab and is using the money to enhance the program. Tuition, parish support, grants, scholarship programs, and community support fund the school, which has been operating since 1963 in Port Huron.
