Find a costume and get a big bag for all that candy. This year’s Trunk or Treat list is HUGE. From Port Sanilac to Algonac and everywhere in between, community groups are planning to host Trunk or Treats.
What’s a Trunk or Treat?
It’s a new take on “trick or treating” where families gather throughout October, and sometimes even into November, to visit parking lots and parks and go from trunk to trunk to gather candy, socialize, and show off costumes.
Do kids still go door to door to trick-or-treat on Halloween (October 31st)?
They sure do. But Trunk or Treats are a popular way to extend the season and enjoy those beautiful October weekends. And sometimes the weather is bad on Halloween or little ones need to get in bed earlier, so Trunk or Treats are a fun alternative.
Where are the local Trunk or Treats?
We’re glad you asked. You can find a huge list here. We are always scouting for any Trunk or Treats that we may have missed, so the list is updated often. Send your organization’s Trunk or Treat info to [email protected].
