Breastfeeding is a great way to get babies off to a healthy start. It’s not always easy at first and new parents need support. Parents can access a multitude of resources at the Breastfeeding, Health & Nutrition Event on August 14th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the YMCA of the Blue Water Area. The event is free and open to the public.

Along with breastfeeding resources, there will be plenty of other community organizations connecting with parents. There will also be a fun zone for kids, prizes, and much more.

The Breastfeeding, Health & Nutrition Event is hosted by, WIC, the St. Clair County Health Department, and Peer Counselor Breastfeeding Support.
