The Charter Township of Fort Gratiot has a surprise waiting for those who take a walk on the Fort Gratiot Trail. The trail has fifteen turkeys placed along the path. The turkeys have been created by fifteen different community groups, including some local students.  The turkeys start at the beginning of the trail, directly across the street from Fort Gratiot Middle School.

Patrons of the park are asked to take a look at the turkeys and vote on their favorite one. To make your vote count, take a picture of your favorite turkey or take a selfie with the turkey and post it on the Township’s Facebook page using the hashtag #FGTurkeyTrail.  

Voting goes on until November 30^th and the winner will be announced on December 1^st.
