Kids Coalition Against Hunger Needs Help Jan. 14th

The Blue Water Feed the World Project is looking for help to package 100,000 meals for local and international use. The Kids Coalition Against Hunger, a 501 c 3 humanitarian food relief organization, packages nutritious meals containing rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a chicken-flavored base of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Volunteers measure and portion out the ingredients into bags, then weigh, seal, and box the meals for delivery.

The meals that were packaged last year were sent to the Texas border, to Poland and Romania for Ukrainian refugees, and to Haiti.

Families are invited to participate in preparing the 100,000 meals. 250 volunteers are needed. This year’s Project will be held on January 14th with two shifts: 9-11 a.m. and 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. The Project is happening at Colonial Woods Missionary Church at 3240 Pine Grove Avenue in Port Huron.
