Free Food for Kids
Families can get a little help feeding their kids this summer with the Meet Up and Eat Up program. This USDA-funded nutrition program provides breakfast and lunch from Port Huron area school buildings throughout the summer.
The food is for anyone under the age of 18 or adults up to age 26 who are enrolled in a program for the physically or developmentally disabled.
Locations and Dates Vary
Meals are provided at Indian Woods, Keewahdin, Roosevelt, and Woodrow Wilson Elementary Schools, as well as Port Huron High School and Port Huron Northern High School. The meals start at the high schools on June 23rd and run until July 31st. The elementary school programs start on July 14th and run through August 7th.
Meals are given out on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Times for breakfast and lunch vary by location.
