Many families in the Blue Water Area have a loved one who is living with autism. The Port Huron Police Department is hosting a Special Needs and Autism Acceptance Day at Pine Grove Park in Downtown Port Huron on Saturday, April 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Local agencies will be there to share resources. There will also be an opportunity for families to register their loved ones with the PHPD Occupant Alert System.

The event is free and open to the public.
