Sanilac County Historic Museum Has Full Schedule for Halloween Fun

The folks who run the Sanilac County Historic Museum are known for their attention to detail and really embracing seasonal themes. Halloween is no exception and they have plenty planned for “spooky season”. BlueWaterParent.com just covers the family-friendly fun, but you can get the full schedule for all ages here.

The museum has started a Creepy Baby Doll Contest. Creepy dolls can be taken to the museum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays through Fridays until October 12th. Dolls will be returned to the owners after the contest winners are announced. If you would enjoy viewing the creepy dolls (?), families can take a peek at them on October 14th and 21st from 7-9 p.m. with paid admission to the Haunted Village. They can be viewed for free on October 13, 20, and 27 from 1-4 p.m. If those times don’t work and you just have to see the creepy dolls, you can call 810.622.9946 to make an appointment.

The Haunted Village will be open October 14th and 21st from 7-9 p.m. The Village has both family-friendly and super-spooky trails. Along with the decorated trails, there is a bonfire and a food booth. S’more roasting and hot chocolate are all part of the fall tradition at the Haunted Village. Kids can feel free to wear costumes and bring a candy bag. Admission is $5 cash at the gate. Kids must have adult supervision.
